Kyrgyzstan and Armenia joined the Eurasian Economic Community, which was established in 2010 under the leadership of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, in 2015. This new formation brought with it new regulations and new arrangements. GOST Certificates, which were valid throughout these countries, were replaced by new documents known as EAC Certificates, which are mandatory for exporting to customs union countries.

GOST Certificates held by companies maintained their validity during the entry into force of the new regulations and the transition period, EAC Certificates were given to companies that wanted to obtain new documents, and GOST Certificates were abolished over time according to product groups.
