ISO 17025 includes all the requirements that testing or calibration laboratories must meet to demonstrate that they operate a quality system, are technically competent and can produce valid technical results. The ISO 17025 standard brings with it the concept of accreditation.

Laboratory accreditation provides official recognition of the competence of laboratories and offers customers an easy method for determining and selecting reliable testing, analysis and calibration services.

The accreditation processes carried out by TÜRKAK are carried out on the basis of international standards. The basic document used by TÜRKAK for the accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories is the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
