Sierra Leone BSC Certificate/Document

For exports to Sierra Leone, it is mandatory to obtain an ENS number and ACD declaration. Your certificate will be ready within 5 working days, provided that you share the required documents with us below. Since 2015, all shipments require an ENS number, also known as CTN or BSC, and an ACD declaration. The BSC certificate must be verified no later than five days before the ship’s arrival. Shipments arriving with a certificate without a certificate or containing incorrect information will be subject to a double fee and an additional fee determined by the Sierra Leone national port authorities.

Senegal BSC Certificate/ Document

Dakar for goods sent to Senegal, it is mandatory to obtain a BSC (CTN) certificate. After sending the documents below and making the payment, the certificate draft will be forwarded and your certificate will be issued electronically within approximately 5/7 business days after you check the information and confirm it. If you are going to export by road via Dakar, you must obtain an ECTN certificate for both Senegal and the final destination country. For a shipment destined for Dakar, Senegal (import – for local consumption), Freetown or any other port. The shipper must have a verified copy of the BSC (CTN) certificate. Shipments that do not receive a bill of lading will be penalized at the port of destination.

Somalia CTN Certificate/Document

CTN, also known as CTN (Cargo Tracking Note), is an electronic cargo tracking system that is mandatory for all shipments sent to more than 24 countries in Africa. The system aims to increase security and facilitate trade by allowing authorities to track cargo from its point of origin to its final destination. Somalia must be mandatorily issued a CTN from February 1, 2023.

Togo ECTN Certificate/Document

Togo ECTN Certificate/Document

If you are shipping to Togo, it is mandatory to obtain an ECTN certificate. The certification process takes approximately one week and it is important to ensure that all documents are complete and consistent to avoid delays or penalties. The shipper is responsible for obtaining the ECTN certificate and failure to do so may result in fines. If you are shipping in transit to another destination in Togo, you will also need to obtain an ECTN certificate for that final destination. Even if your shipment is transiting from the Republic of Togo to another country, you will still need to obtain an ECTN document. For example, a shipment going to Burkina Faso via Togo will require both a Burkina Faso and Togo certificate.

Yemen ACD Certificate/Document

Yemen ACD Certificate/Document

The Yemen Ministry of Transport has decided to implement the ACD certificate procedure for Yemeni ports.

Therefore, it will be mandatory as of January 1, 2025 and must be obtained from the loading port by the sender, receiver or forwarder. At the same time, the ACD number must be written on the bill of lading.

Shipments arriving without a certificate are subject to a penalty fee at the relevant country port.
